Role: -  Associate Director, Partnerships & Growth

Department: - Content Activation

 

This role reports to AVP - Partnerships

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Partner Ecosystem Development: Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with brands, platforms, IRL events and commerce partners mainly to expand Unilever’s digital footprint and unlock strategic and tactical collaborations. 
  • Trend Analysis s Implementation: Track and translate emerging online trends, innovative collabs, and youth culture moments into actionable brand content strategies and ideas. 
  • Gen Z Platform Expertise: Build a nuanced understanding of Gen Z-preferred platforms (e.g., Instagram, Snapchat,Moj, Discord) and develop targeted content hooks and campaigns that resonate authentically with this audienceesp for planning surround building around activations and IRL events.  
  • E-commerce/ Quick-commerce Behaviour Intelligence: Analyse commerce consumer behaviour and path-to-purchase journeys to inform content and campaign optimization across shopper ecosystems. 
  • Networking s Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with industry leaders, partners, and platforms to stay ahead of the curve and bring in early access opportunities. 
  • Consent-Based Data Acquisition: Learn and implement modern methods of acquiring consent-led data through partnerships and e-commerce touchpoints, while adhering to privacy norms and ethical marketing practices. 
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the client, MSF content, media buying and planning teams to align strategies, amplify ideas, and deliver integrated and impactful partnership interventions. 

 

What We’re Looking For: 

  • 4–8 years of experience in partnership development for brands and platforms with at least 2-4 years of relevant content and GenZ marketing exp. 
  • Proven experience in trendspotting, youth marketing, or creator economy ecosystems is a strong plus. 
  • Mid-to-strong understanding of commerce journeys, basic digital marketing and media  
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills. 
  • A strategic thinker who can connect dots between culture, content, commerce, and communities.
