Job Title: Veterinary Surgeon

Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum (D.O.E)

Location: Moor Cottage Veterinary Practice, Berkshire

Job Type: Permanent, full-time

Hours: 40 hours per week over 4 days, 1:6 Saturdays (8:30am-16:30pm) No OOH.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic veterinary surgeon to join our friendly and supportive team here at Moor Cottage.

You will be working alongside our fantastic team of 6 Vets, 10 RVNs, 2 SVNs, 2 PCAs and a wonderful support and client care team. Our team have a wide range of interests including internal medicine, surgery, fear-free approaches, and feline medicine. We have an Advanced Practitioner in Feline Medicine and vets currently studying towards certificates, with one RVN studying for an Exotic certificate and one RVN with a Feline Nursing certificate. Further qualifications and study are very much encouraged across the team. We also have a visiting orthopaedic vet enabling us to keep cases in-house.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with great interpersonal skills and high clinical standards. This role involves a mixture of consults and surgery. Saturdays are sole charge, so you will be comfortable making clinical judgement.
