About the team and the role: eBay, Inc. seeks Manager, Product Management 3 - Tech in San Jose, CA
What you will accomplish: Design, shape, and drive product solutions for eBay’s seller finances experience, which impacts millions of eBay sellers and shoppers around the world. Define the product vision and roadmaps across technology components. Define priorities, balancing near-term deliverables and longer-term investment in technology platforms. Identify complex challenges and present solutions based on data to senior leadership. Synthesize market changes and technology improvements into practical improvements for the platform. Partner closely with internal and external customers to provide a global viewpoint and extend applications across use cases. Telecommuting permitted within metropolitan statistical area.
What you will bring:
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering or a closely related field plus five years of experience in the job offered, as a Product Manager, or a related occupation.
Special Skill Requirements:
Two years of experience with each of the following:
- Product management in payments or financial services
- Management of large stakeholder groups including business, finance, tax, accounting, legal, compliance, markets, product, customer service, research, and design
- Continuous discovery, competitive research and analysis, and design sprints
- Management of high-performing product managers working in payments or financial services
Any amount of experience with each of the following:
- Building product solutions for payments gateway and payments processing
- Building payments acceptance process across multiple geographies
- Managing transaction fraud
- Financial analysis including NPV (net present value), IRR (internal rate of return), and FCF (free cash flow)
- Running regression models and driving decisions based on statistical significance
- Data modeling, UML diagrams, APIs, distributed systems, and micro services
Base Salary: $179,171.00-262,900.00 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
