About the team & Opportunity:

innovaTel is looking for both full and part-time Psychiatrists licensed in the state of Missouri who are passionate about our mission of delivering speed to quality mental health care for all. This is a fully remote telehealth position working with patients in an Outpatient Community Mental Health Center Setting. We provide a tremendous amount of support to our clinical team and want our clinicians to be able to focus on what’s most important - patient care. 

Accountabilities:

• Provide effective management of psychiatric care including initial psychiatric evaluations and medication management reviews in accordance with established clinical guidelines 
• Develop a strong rapport with a diverse set of patients (socioeconomic status, age, sexual orientation etc.) exclusively through the telehealth modality
• Uphold clinical customer service through the delivery of prompt and empathetic care
• Formulate treatment plans in collaboration with the on-site clinical team
• Document concurrently all clinical findings and services provided in the electronic medical record as required by compliance standards

Minimum Qualifications:

• Active Doctorate (MD / DO) Required
• ABPN Board Certification
• Active medical state license in good standing
• Excellent written and verbal communication with an emphasis on clarity and compassion
• Must be comfortable treating children and adults, ages 6+
• 16 hours, 3 days a week
• 50% kids, 50% adults

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active MD licensed in the state of Missouri, or a state offering reciprocal licensure for the state of Missouri
• Experience working with a PCP group
• Experienced in caring for patients with Serious Mental Illness
• Experienced in caring for patients with co-occurring substance use disorders
• Previous telemedicine experience and skilled at using online tools and technology to deliver care and communicate with patients
