Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supply Chain and Inventory Manager to oversee and streamline our supply chain operations, warehouse management, inventory control, and cost-saving initiatives. This role is critical to ensuring efficient warehouse operations, maintaining accurate inventory records, and reconciling inventory and costs to align with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations, logistics, inventory management, cost analysis, and financial reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Warehouse Management

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution.

• Ensure the warehouse is organized, secure, and compliant with health and safety regulations.

• Develop and implement efficient workflows and processes to optimize storage and handling.

• Supervise and train warehouse staff to enhance productivity and ensure high performance.

2. Inventory Control

• Manage and maintain accurate inventory records through regular audits and cycle counts.

• Monitor stock levels and oversee reorder processes to prevent stockouts and overstocking.

• Develop inventory management strategies, including FIFO (First-In-First-Out) and ABC analysis, to minimize costs and waste.

• Identify discrepancies and resolve issues with inventory levels through business reconciliation.

3. Supply Chain Coordination

• Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely supply and delivery of materials and products.

• Develop and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to optimize cost and delivery times.

• Track and report on key supply chain KPIs, such as lead times, order accuracy, and fulfillment rates.

• Implement cost-saving and efficiency improvement strategies across the supply chain.

4. Cost Savings and Financial Reconciliation

• Identify opportunities for cost reduction in warehousing, inventory management, and supply chain processes.

• Conduct regular cost-benefit analyses and propose initiatives for improved cost efficiency.

• Perform business reconciliation between inventory records, supplier invoices, and accounting records to ensure financial accuracy.

• Collaborate with the finance team to track and report on cost-saving initiatives, inventory valuation, and financial impact on supply chain performance.

5. System & Process Improvement

• Utilize inventory management software (e.g., ERP systems) to track and optimize warehouse and supply chain operations.

• Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in warehouse and inventory processes.

• Lead initiatives to improve automation, streamline processes, and enhance warehouse layout and storage solutions.

6. Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare and present regular reports on inventory levels, warehouse productivity, cost savings, and supply chain performance.

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and best practices in inventory management.

• Develop and enforce policies and procedures related to inventory, warehouse management, and cost control.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.

• Proven experience in warehouse, supply chain, inventory management, and cost-saving initiatives (minimum 3-5 years in a managerial role preferred).

• Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse management, supply chain principles, and business reconciliation.

• Proficiency in using inventory management software (e.g., ERP systems, WMS).

• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on financial reconciliation and cost analysis.

• Leadership and team management experience, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing demands.

Preferred:

• Certification in supply chain management or financial management (e.g., APICS, CSCMP, CPA) is a plus.
