Director, Sales Operations

About the Role:

The Director of Business Operations is the architect of the Enterprise commercial engine. This role is responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of the systems, data, and processes that drive the post-sale customer lifecycle. You will bridge the gap between Sales, Finance, and Product to ensure that our enterprise solutions leveraging Dow Jones’ trusted journalism and data are delivered, measured, and expanded with maximum efficiency.

You Will:

  • Operational Infrastructure: Architecting the Salesforce roadmap and tech-stack enhancements to automate the lead-to-fulfillment lifecycle.

  • Financial & Strategic Reporting: Partnering with Finance to deliver unified reporting on ARR, NRR, and forecasting accuracy for the enterprise business.

  • Data & Analytics Strategy: Leading the build-out of a centralized analytics suite, including the development of predictive Client Health Scores.

  • Engagement Frameworks: Designing data-driven engagement models that trigger proactive outreach based on user consumption and behavioral patterns.

  • Performance Governance: Establishing and monitoring the core Customer Success KPI framework (Time-to-Value, Activation Rates, and Retention) to drive accountability.

  • Fulfillment & Technical Oversight: Overseeing the end-to-end technical implementation and fulfillment process to ensure seamless client onboarding.

You Have:

  • Experience: 15+ years in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations (RevOps), or Business Operations within a SaaS or Media Enterprise environment.

  • Technical Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of Salesforce (SFDC) architecture and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI).

  • Analytical Mindset: Proven ability to translate complex data sets into actionable business insights and financial forecasts.

  • Collaboration: Demonstrated success in partnering with Finance, Sales, and Product teams to align on a unified growth strategy.

Pay Range: 175,000.00 - 215,000.00
