The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.

Job Summary:

The Trade Support Analyst will be responsible for supporting the firm’s MBS & Secondary ABS/CLO business. This person will be responsible for handling all middle office operational functions including, but not limited to, providing trade support functions for the MBS and Secondary ABS/CLO Trading Desk and Sales Desk 

Major Responsibilities:

  • Handle any Front Office requests such as booking Broker trades, booking Megas/Supers/Platinums and correcting trades.
  • Check and reconcile automated morning report to confirm positions are correct.
  • Send trade-recap to customer clients and request for allocations.
  • Confirm trades flow to and match on CTM and subaccounts are accurately allocated.
  • Prepare positions, allocate open tbas and pair off pools during Class A through C 48-hour periods in MBSE.
  • Screen MBSE for EPN messages and pool changes throughout the month.
  • Monitor TRACE Reporting.
  • Action any updates to factors in MUFG’s systems
  • Monitor Impact - Check TUR and SUR for trade entry exceptions.
  • Handle any queries from Settlements or P&S
  • Liaise between Front Office and Settlements & P&S
  • Work on any Client queries.
  • Resolve any open items that arise from factor updates with clients.

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate Degree in Finance or related.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Trade Support

The typical base range for this role is between $70K and 90K per year depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
