Job Description:

The Senior Financial Analyst is a key part of the iRhythm FP&A team who will support financial analysis, planning and reporting activities for the Company. This self-starting, highly communicative, detail focused individual will be responsible for various aspects of financial reporting, variance analysis, short and long-range planning, business modeling, and driving continuous improvement to team workflow through report automation. He or she will possess a keen attention to detail and the ability to solve problems balanced with curiosity for the big picture.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate planning cycles for short- and long-range updates.
  • Prepare financial packages, business review presentations, and quarterly earning support schedules.
  • Support detailed, timely and accurate analysis of financial results, variance to budget, and tracking to forecast, on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
  • Design, improve, and rebuild financial models and templates for scalability, consistency, ease of use, and accuracy. Incorporate automation to simplify processes, minimize manual errors and reduce reporting time.
  • Partner with various cross-functional teams to build and update financial models, including ROI, IRR, NPV, and payback periods for business decisions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience and Minimum Qualifications:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration or similar field.
  • At least 4 years of related financial experience required.
  • A thorough understanding of accounting principals and processes.
  • Experience with QAD and Adaptive Planning preferred or other relevant ERP systems.
  • Experience forecasting a variety of financial and or operational metrics.
  • Proven and demonstrated experience in financial statement analysis; high level of proficiency required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Financial modeling experience preferred.
  • Excellent relationship skills and the ability to effectively interact and communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels staff and outside professionals.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Overtime/Additional Hours Requirements

  • May be requested to work overtime on evenings and weekends dependent on business need.

  • Normal Office Environment
  • Indoor work in a climate-controlled environment.
  • Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
