The Opportunity

Chicago Public Media is seeking a Traffic Assistant to join our team.  The Traffic Assistant will support the Traffic and Ad Operations department with daily tasks, such as reconciling the daily broadcast logs; entering copy instructions; assisting the Sales Team with troubleshooting in the copy software; and other duties as assigned. The regular work hours would be four hours per day, between 8a to 1p central time based on agreement between the employee and manager.

 

General Responsibilities

  • Reconcile WBEZ and WBEW broadcast logs
  • Add scripts and copy instructions to Traffic module
  • Update scripts as needed
  • Submits the AP/TTWN affidavits weekly
  • Assist with copy software troubleshooting for the Sales Team
  • Run campaign reporting
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

  • 0-1 year of experience in broadcast traffic experience or related industry.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment remotely
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience with Marketron Traffic suite is a plus
