Contract lenght: Fixed Term 12 months
Salary: £33700 - £38000 (Depending on Experience)

Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for Part Qualified Accountant role within the Business Support Team at our Caterpillar facility in Peterborough. The successful candidate will be required to support the Accounting Manager to report and analyse monthly results for Research & Development (R&D) and Current Product Support Engineering Spend. In addition to having a forward looking approach to forecast future spend and analyse trends.
Whilst this opportunity sits within the Finance function, a key component of this role will be effective business partnering with senior stakeholders in the Product Management and Engineering functions.
What You Will Do:
Creating reports on financial performance for internal and external use.
Responding to inquiries and contacting other departments or vendors to resolve a variety of tasks.
Upon request, take part in special projects and ad hoc reporting requests.
Maintain, implement, and adhere to internal controls while ensuring that accounting procedures comply with GAAP
