Job Title:         Shipping Officer

Department:    Distribution   

Reports to:      Sr. Distribution Manager                                

Location:          Korangi Plant

Job Summary: Responsibility for managing as per Logistic requirement, Compilation and management of shipping documentation, Manage the supply chain design and qualification process including product specific.

Principal Duties: 

• Dispatched all Institution consignment after confirmation of payment.
• Arrange to ship all customer’s orders within due time
• Coordinate transporters to arrange Truck/vehicle to dispatch stock timely.
• Maintain and complete records / filling on daily basis.
• Maintain shipping Marka register with all references.
• Monitor Abbott’s Vehicles and keep maintain complete logbooks on daily basis.
• Arrange temperature data records.
• Checking all GTN / DA’s of satellite depots after receiving from stores.
• Update institution & distributor shipment sheet on daily basis after dispatched & send to concerned.
• Manage other jobs and when assigned by Manager.

Knowledge Requirements:

• Understanding of shipping processes, transportation coordination, and supply chain design.
• Knowledge of shipping documentation, regulatory requirements, and record-keeping standards.
• Familiarity with stock dispatch procedures and institutional consignment handling.
• Awareness of temperature data recording and cold chain requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems for shipment tracking and reporting.

Experience and Education:

• 2–3 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain operations.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare industry logistics is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with transport coordination and documentation management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Certification in Logistics or Supply Chain (e.g., CSCP, CLTD) will be an advantage.
