Job Summary
Supervisor, Materials Management:
In this role, you'll oversee inventory management, purchasing activities, supplier relationships, and team performance to ensure the right materials are available at the right time. You'll play a key role in supporting operational excellence through effective planning, forecasting, and inventory control.

What You'll Do:
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to support on-time delivery and meet customer requirements.
- Identify and evaluate new materials, suppliers, and processes to achieve the highest standards of quality, reliability, cost-effectiveness, continuity, and delivery performance.
- Establish inventory control procedures and oversee the annual physical inventory process.
- Lead, coach, develop, and evaluate team members to drive performance and operational success.
- Partner with product line coordinators to plan and forecast customer orders and ensure timely shipments.
- Build, maintain, and negotiate relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Purchase supplies and materials according to established specifications and business requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and best practices across all materials management functions.
Required Education
- Bachelor's Degree required.
Experience in lieu of a degree: Yes
Required Experience
- 5–7 years of directly related experience required.
- 2–3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
