Patient Registrar – Neuro Rehab | Full-Time, Days

Register patients for various procedures and appointments, taking pride in going above and beyond to help others. In this role, you will collect demographic details and insurance information, including pre-certifications and authorizations, while ensuring accurate scheduling. You will serve as a calm and reassuring presence for patients as they navigate their hospital experience.

This position is Monday - Friday day shift at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens.

Preferred Criteria

• Some college course work completed
• Familiarity with health insurance requirements and clinical coding

Required Criteria

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least one year of clerical experience
• Computer skills
• Exceptional customer services skills
