Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Network Design Engineer to support enterprise and hospitality WiFi deployments. This role involves designing, documenting, and remotely assisting with the implementation and monitoring of complex network infrastructures across multiple properties. The ideal candidate will have experience with troubleshooting and deploying equipment from various networking vendors, a strong understanding of enterprise-grade network topologies, and the ability to interpret WiFi survey data.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

• Add new properties to network monitoring platforms (e.g., Intermapper).
• Build out network topologies based on design and installation documentation.
• Set up property-specific monitoring and WiFi dashboards.
• Complete customer network decommissions and offboarding procedures.
• Assist with remote configuration and staging of network equipment for upcoming complex WiFi installations.
• Support remote installations of enterprise networks involving multiple switches and access points.
• Review and interpret WiFi network surveys, including Ekahau heatmaps, to validate coverage and performance.
• Contribute to automation efforts for network deployment and configuration.
• Develop and maintain documentation for network installation and troubleshooting procedures.

Preferred Sills & Experiences

• Experience with enterprise networking equipment and configurations.

• Familiarity with remote staging and deployment processes.
• Ability to read and analyze WiFi survey data (e.g., Ekahau).
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Experience with some or all of the following vendors:
•   - Ruckus: Switches, Access Points, Controllers
•   - Aruba: Switches, Access Points, Gateways
•   - Cisco Meraki: MX Security Appliances, Switches, Access Points
•   - Juniper: SRX Series Firewalls
• Prior experience in hospitality or campus style enterprise network deployments.
• Exposure to network automation tools and scripting.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CWNA, JNCIA, or equivalent are a plus.
