Job Scope & Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day invoice processing (PO and non-PO) in SAP, ensuring accuracy in coding, approvals, and compliance with company policies.
• Prepare and execute vendor payments according to the agreed schedule and payment terms.
• Ensure timely and accurate posting of invoices, debit/credit notes, and adjustments in the ERP system.
• Perform routine vendor reconciliations, following up on open items and clarifying differences.
• Assist with month-end closing tasks, including GR/IR monitoring, accruals, and AP-related reconciliations.
• Handle vendor queries and basic stakeholder communication, ensuring professional and timely responses.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and basic SOX/AP controls.
• Support documentation and maintenance of SOPs to ensure processes remain accurate and updated.
• Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing requested AP schedules and documentation.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Solid understanding of Accounts Payable processes (invoice handling, payments, reconciliations).
• Ability to work with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and MS Office tools (Excel proficiency a must).
• Detail-oriented with strong accuracy and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently on routine tasks and escalate issues when necessary.
• Good communication skills to liaise with vendors and internal teams.
• Awareness of basic accounting concepts, and compliance requirements.

Education & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–3 years of work experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting, preferably in a shared services or multinational environment.
• Familiarity with SAP ERP or similar systems is highly preferred.
• Exposure to internal controls or audit support is an advantage.
