Job Description Summary:

The University of Kansas Medical Center is seeking general/community neurologists to join our growing team. Candidates fresh out of training as well as experienced candidates are welcome to apply.

Job Description:

Job Duties:

  • Function as a staff physician in the Department of Neurology

  • Diagnose, treat, and manage neurology patients in the clinic and hospital rounds

  • Participate in on-call coverage shared among the neurologists, which provides a balanced lifestyle

  • Educate medical students, residents, and fellows in patient care settings and in formal and informal group education formats

  • Minimally participate in scholarly activities derived from clinical activities

  • Opportunity to participate in research opportunities as desired

  • Perform other duties as directed by Department Chair

  • Eligible for Kansas medical licensure. Background check required.

Required Qualifications
Education: MD, DO, or foreign equivalent.

Work Experience: Neurology Residency training.

Preferred Qualifications
Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills
