CME Group is currently looking for an Accounting summer intern.

This candidate will assist the Accounting Department on day-to-day activities in support of the accounts payable, accounts receivable, and corporate accounting functions.

Principal Accountabilities:

Varies by area but can include any of the following:

• Processing supplier invoices
• Customer collections
• Creation of journal entries
• Account reconciliations
• Creating or updating financial schedules
• Other projects as assigned

Skills / Software Requirements:

• Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets experience required
• Competency in Microsoft Word or Google Docs and Gmail
• Workday experience a plus
• Work experience in a corporate environment a plus

Education:

Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in business at a 4 year college or university as an accounting or finance major.
Minimum GPA of 3.5 on 4 point scale.

The internship is full-time over the summer for ten to twelve weeks under a hybrid (office/remote) arrangement.

Actual pay offered will be dependent on a wide array of factors including but not limited to: relevant experience, skills, education, location of the internship, and the internship area of focus.
