Job Summary/職務概要:

Reporting to Head of Supply Chain Japan, this individual will manage 3PL distribution center activities, manage & supervise Abbott F&D employee, 3PL employees to accomplish following:  shipping, receiving, inventory control and delivery for finished goods and hardware(fixed assets) in an efficient and cost effective manner following all levels of compliance.

Addition to above common Logistics Role, experience of budget planning, project planning, ERP(SAP) or Implementation with WMS, highly recommended.

Job Duties/職務内容:

  • Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
  • Evaluates warehousing processes and systems, makes recommendations for improvements, and manages the implementation of approved process and systems changes with a goal of improving productivity, reducing expense and improving margins.
  • Manages daily distribution center/warehouse process including system stability to support efficiencies, quality system compliance and timely outbound of products.
  • Manages all transportation and delivery programs including routing, courier selection, while minimizing expenses and maintaining a high level of customer service and responsiveness.
  • Responsible for matters related to warehouse including BCP, maintaining physical facilities with 3PL support.
  • Creates and maintains departmental reports and track Key KPI as required.
  • Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with data storage system
  • Hires and retains a diverse, highly qualified staff and provides ongoing performance feedback. Maintains a safe and professional work environment.
  • Facilitate or join Cross-functional and Global-APAC Projects to support Commercial Team, customer.
  • Support all Company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.
  • Support Financial SOX related Audit related to Distribution.

General Qualifications

  • 4 year college degree or equivalent, minimum B.A. / B.S certification
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, a related field, or equivalent preferred
  • An advanced credential, such as an MBA, MA, or MS in a relevant discipline preferred
  • 5- years of experience working in highly regulated warehousing environment
    • 5- years of supervisory experience
    • Equivalent Continuous Improvement knowledge
    • 3PL / Vendor / Service Provider Management experience
    • ERP usage experience / ERP-WMS interfacing experience
    • Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced changing environment
    • Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment
    • Business level English communication skills required. (TOEIC 750+)
