Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:

  • Schedule/reschedule production in accordance with customer orders and factory capabilities
  • Place major emphasis on meeting customer requirements
  • Prioritization of production orders in alignment with sales demand
  • Update and provide open order and scheduling reports
  • Execute the preparation of production priorities to comply with delivery schedules
  • Coordinate with the factory personnel to resolve issues that are negatively impacting production schedules and plans.
  • Work closely with production to find improvement areas in planning and production
  • Use company systems to drive overall planning and customer service improvements
  • Act as primary representative of Supply Chain to Sales and Customer Service regarding sales order delivery status
  • Responsible for maintaining a collaborative relationship with other Customer Focus Team functions (Program Management, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering) as well as Demand Management and Materials/Purchasing
  • Responsible for providing and maintaining monthly rough-cut capacity analysis
  • Responsible for reporting and execution of Sales Revenue, Forecast, and Customer facing metrics such as On Time Delivery and Past Due

Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain, Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Logistics, or other relevant discipline.
  • 2-4 years of experience in various aspects of operations, supply and manufacturing. 
  • Skilled at multi-tasking with flexibility and adaptability to changing schedules and shifting priorities.
  • Possess knowledge of customer ordering and inventory practices and fulfillment processes. 
  • Good working knowledge of the processes and systems that reside across the supply chain. 
  • Possess strong analytical skills and overall business acumen knowledge. 
  • Excellent math and logical thinking skills. 
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); proven ability to communicate effectively cross functionally within the company.
  • Excellent MS Office skills. 
  • Ability to work off hours and overtime (including weekends) as needed. 
  • Ability to Travel up to 25% of the time
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, JIT and Kanban is a plus. 
  • Candidate must be able to work in a team environment that demands a cooperative approach in addressing issues, a willingness to contribute to problem solving efforts, a helpful nature in assisting coworkers, and a positive attitude.

Salary range:

$63,600.00 - $101,800.00
