The Internal ETF Sales Specialist is a site-based sales associate aligned with Capital Group’s Divisional Sales teams.  This person will be responsible for delivering point of sale expertise in representing Capital Group/American Funds’ ETF strategies to financial advisors as well as training and educating our site-based sales associates.  The role will work closely with ETF Product Management, the Capital Markets Team, ETF Marketing as well as the Equity and Fixed Income Investment Groups.

  • You have a broad knowledge of ETF products and have a demonstrated ability to build long term relationships and influence others.

  • You have ETF experience, preferably in a selling role.

  • You have at least (2-3) years of internal wholesaling experience

  • You have strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze opportunities/issues and to recommend business solutions.

  • You have a strong training and sales background.

  • You have a focus on achievement and a drive to take initiative while demonstrating sound business judgment.

  • You have the ability to develop, prioritize and implement best practices.

  • You have a leadership style that is open, approachable, and informing.

  • You wholly embrace American Funds and Capital Group's investment philosophy; you should share in the company’s commitment to increasing sales within a framework of long-term relationship building, teamwork, and the highest professional integrity.

  • You have the ability to adapt and thrive in a start-up opportunity in a large world class asset management firm.

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
