Overview

A PIMS Intern supports project teams by assisting with data management, reporting, automation, and digital tools used across projects. This role is designed for students or recent graduates who are eager to learn about project controls, digital engineering, and technology‑driven project management. Interns will work under the guidance of senior engineers and contribute to improving efficiency and standardization in project delivery

Your Role

• The PIMS Intern will support project teams by helping maintain organized data in the Common Data Environment (CDE), assisting with project setup, folders, and templates, and contributing to deploying digital tools.
• The role includes updating Power BI dashboards and Excel reports, performing basic data cleaning and analysis, and assisting with standardization, templates, and simple automation using Power Automate or Excel formulas.
• The intern will also support project controls activities such as updating CBS/WBS structures, tracking progress and risks, and learning earned value concepts under guidance.
• Throughout the internship, they will collaborate with senior engineers, contribute to documentation, and participate in team discussions, gaining exposure to digital tools like Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Excel, SQL, Python, and foundational data analytics, KPIs, and dashboards.

About you

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in: Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology Or related fields.
• Strong willingness to learn digital tools and project management processes.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment.
• Preferred:
  • Basic knowledge of Power Platform or data analytics tools.
  • Certifications or courses in project management or data analytics (optional).
  • Enthusiasm for automation, reporting, and improving processes.
  • Teamwork and eagerness to participate in real project environments.
