The Quality System Integration & Test Engineer is responsible for verifying new and existing products as part of the release to production process. In this role, you will gain in-depth knowledge of customer requirements, define and execute test cases and procedures to assess overall product conformance to requirements, and determine release readiness for deployment to production/field. Testing will be approached using a system level perspective (i.e. product as a complete solution) to evaluate hardware, software, networking components, and related interfaces.  Security Enterprise Solutions division is the leading supplier of security detection systems with a focus on checkpoint, checked baggage, air cargo and ports & borders security screening systems

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Preparation: Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents. Develop/Review comprehensive test plans, test cases, and procedures for the Validation and Verification (V&V) of system functionality, reliability, and compliance to requirements.
  • Execution: Perform/Witness hands-on testing, Validation and Verification of software and hardware systems.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with systems engineers, software developers, and hardware teams to identify and resolve issues during testing phases. Participate in continuous improvement activities and make recommendations to improve the product/supporting processes.
  • Documentation: Ensure all defects encountered during testing are captured, entered in the system (Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.) and reviewed with key stakeholders for timely resolution. Create or review detailed Test Report.
  • Communication: Report status, conflicts, issues, or roadblocks with stakeholders (Project Management, Program Management, Quality Management, etc.). Actively participate in project meetings and represent customer needs throughout the gated product realization process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Software), Computer Science, Physics, or Math.
  • 2+ years of hands-on testing, Validation and Verification experience of software and integrated electro-mechanical systems including developing test procedures and authoring test reports.
  • Strong software background, including Windows and Linux experience.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $59,150.00 - $106,925.00
