Job Description

I. Responsibilities:

  • Prepares monthly financial statements by collecting data, analyzing, and investigating variances
  • Assist with consolidation and review of financial data for reporting to parent company
  • Supports financial decision-making by timely and accurate financial feedback to business leaders
  • Complies with local, federal, and international accounting standards by studying regulations and adhering to requirements
  • Adherence to corporate policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Assembles data for quarterly and annual public filings
  • Prepares special reports by studying variances, preparing budgets, and developing forecasts
  • Subject matter expert on financial reporting tools; such as BPC, PowerBI, etc.
  • Other projects or duties as needed

II. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • BS/BA in Accounting
  • 0-2 years of accounting and/or related financial experience
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and technical skills
  • IFRS knowledge a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Strong knowledge of fundamental accounting concepts, processes, and controls
  • Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Experience with financial reporting systems a plus
  • Strong critical thinking skills with attention to detail
  • A self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively to solve problems
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to complete multiple tasks within established time constraints

The Accountant, Financial Reporting will report to the Sr. Accountant, Financial Reporting
