JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Summary:

• Responsible for procurement of all Imported Raw and Packaging materials at right cost, right quality and right time. Search for the new vendors for the competitive prices and improved quality and manage supplier qualification activities. Leading all procurement initiatives from Pakistan site, managed by supplier relationship office.

Principal Duties:

• Manage all the activities carried out in the Import Purchase Section.
• Review material requirements with Materials Planning Group for the placement of new orders.
• Liaise with the vendors, QA and Production for the rectification of supplier related material issues.
• Liaise with KTC for procurement related activities of NPI projects.
• Interact with the vendors, QA, supplier compliance section and Production for the new vendor approvals.
• Liaise with Global Procurement team for establishment and execution of global purchase contracts.
• Work on new/alternate vendor development for margin improvement, cost reduction.
• Exploring new opportunities of financial savings in relation to compete initiative and manage timely execution and updates of all projects.
• Coordinate with treasury department for timely payments to vendors.
• Manage all procurement related activities and projects launched by supplier relationship office, on behalf of Pakistan site.
• Leading annual budgeting activity of direct materials, management reviews and Procurement KPI reporting.
• Monitoring supply risks with mitigation plans, NPI projects procurement, supplier quality compliance activities, e-Sourcing Initiatives, procurement performance (PPV) reporting, procurement compliance implementing optimization projects.
• Any other job assigned by Head of Supply Chain or Director Supply Chain.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Science or Business Graduate (B.E. / BBA)
