The Global Brand Experience + Innovation Studio is a future-forward creative group exploring new frontiers in consumer engagement and storytelling. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
As a Global Brand Experience + Innovation Studio Intern, you'll be a multi-hyphenate creative with a growing portfolio of work that showcases your skills and knowledge in the intersection of art, technology, and storytelling. You're a curious and creative individual who's eager to stay up-to-date on future technology and design trends, and apply new skills to push the boundaries of immersive experiences and storytelling. You'll collaborate with our team to develop your design skills, ideate creative concepts, and drive projects to completion.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You’ll be a part of a dynamic team that’s passionate about pushing the boundaries of brand experiences. You'll collaborate closely with our studio's Art and Design Directors, Designers, and Producers to develop your skills and contribute to exciting projects. You'll also have the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams, Nike’s enterprise partners, and creative agencies to gain a deeper understanding of how our brand experiences come to life.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
Concept Development – Collaborating with our team to ideate, design, and execute cutting-edge concepts that engage consumers in unique and memorable ways. Develop creative briefs, mood boards, and prototypes that bring ideas to life across various mediums.
Visual storytelling – Be part of the development of immersive art direction for a wide range of experiences, that may include physical space, virtual worlds and gaming environments.
Team Collaboration - Partner with directors, designers, artists, developers, and external agencies to bring immersive experiences to fruition.
Staying ahead of industry trends in art, design, technology, and gaming. Leverage insights to inspire new ideas and keep Nike at the forefront of immersive experiences.
WHAT YOU BRING
Currently pursuing bachelor's degree in relevant field with a graduation date of winter 2025 or spring 2026.
Curious and passionate about design, gaming, and emerging technologies: You have a strong interest in art direction, design, gaming, and emerging technologies and are eager to learn and grow in these areas.
Creative and innovative: We're looking for a curious and passionate individual who explores different design disciplines and platforms. We encourage diverse perspectives and a multidisciplinary approach and are excited to see how you combine creativity and innovation to create innovative solutions.
Proficient in design software: You have experience with industry-standard design software, 3D software, and are eager to learn more about game engines like Unreal Engine and Unity, and other relevant technologies. Experience with 3D modeling and motion graphics is a plus.
Effective collaborator and communicator: You have strong verbal and written communication skills, and are able to work effectively with others to achieve common goals. You're also self-motivated and driven to deliver high-quality results, with the ability to manage your time and workload effectively
Passionate about sports, culture, and gaming: You have a genuine interest in sports, culture, gaming, and Nike's mission to bring inspiration and innovation to every athlete in the world.
