In this Associate Director role within our Healthcare Operations setting, you will be responsible for supporting regulatory and compliance programs within our provider based locations. This role will require you to review regulatory guidelines and create and maintain programs alongside our compliance teams within Banner Health.

This is a remote role working Full Time 40hrs/week Monday - Friday.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for leading and developing the operational processes that support the accuracy and quality of the company’s best practices, for compliance with contractual requirements, regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures. This position provides analysis and recommendations to Directors, Regional Directors and Executive Management on the management and operations of non-clinical best practices including scheduling, patient logistics, and general best practices. This position coordinates and supervises all internal and external audit activities regarding operations within the operations services.

CORE FUNCTIONS

1. Works independently under limited supervision. Provides strategic planning and direction for the company in healthcare operations and media. Uses specialized knowledge to make independent decisions. This position provides detailed and specific information to internal and external auditors on the quality and integrity of patient logistics, scheduling, and general operations. This position manages the software systems for all of the company's scheduling support systems and patient logistics systems.

 

2. Provides managerial direction and supervision to direct reports responsible developing operational best practices non-clinical best practices and contractual and regulatory compliance; Support Services and other non-reporting, management and staff.

3. Develops, validates, distributes and presents to management, reports and analyses regarding: compliance operations; scheduling operations; non-clinical practices; patient logistics ; and special project analyses.

4. Represents Healthcare operations in System-wide, multi-disciplinary task forces and work groups to improve company and patient experience, operations, and activities. .

5. Coaches staff and teaches technical skills. Improves reporting departmental operations by developing managerial skills, analytical skills and technical knowledge among direct reports and staff.

6. Coordinates and facilitates requests for new software systems and tools, ensuring appropriate analysis of software systems. Coordinates these functions for all areas of Healthcare Operations in facilities, ambulatory, and corporate spaces. .

7. Develops and maintains multiple dashboards and programs that monitor performance and results

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

This position requires a bachelor’s degree level of knowledge in business, finance, or related fields.

Requires two or more years of experience with healthcare operations, patient logistics, or administration. Two or more years of demonstrated managerial and organizational experience is also required. Good analytical and interpretive skills are required to evaluate financial and operational performance. Effective verbal and written communication skills are required. Effective interpersonal skills are required to deal with all levels of management and external contacts.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


A broad, general knowledge of the health care environment is advantageous.

Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
