What You’ll Do

As the Shipping Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate daily shipping, warehouse, and distribution operations to ensure accurate inventory management and on-time delivery to customers. You will lead shipping, pack-out, material handling, and fittings teams, while partnering closely with plant leadership to support production schedules and customer commitments.

Key responsibilities include:

• Plan, direct, and coordinate daily shipping and distribution activities
• Oversee warehouse operations to ensure incoming and outgoing inventory is processed accurately and on schedule
• Supervise shipping, pack-out, material handlers, and fittings department employees
• Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with the Plant Manager and Production Supervisor
• Audit inventory, analyze results, and recommend restocking strategies
• Establish and maintain efficient warehouse practices, layouts, and protocols
• Ensure shipping documentation, including invoices and packing lists, is accurate and completed on time
• Inspect outgoing shipments to ensure they meet quality standards and customer requirements
• Coordinate with carriers to ensure timely pick-up and delivery
• Track, analyze, and report shipping performance metrics
• Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with company and regulatory policies
• Address shipping-related issues and customer concerns as they arise
• Identify and implement cost-reduction and continuous improvement initiatives
• Build strong working relationships internally and with external partners

What You’ll Need

• Proven experience in a Shipping Supervisor or similar leadership role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics processes, and inventory management
• Experience using logistics and inventory management systems
• Demonstrated leadership, delegation, and employee development skills
• Excellent organizational, coordination, and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies
• Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment
• Physical ability to stand or walk for extended periods

Pay Range:

53,360.00 - 80,040.00
