We move critical products that keep industries running — and we're looking for exceptional talent to help us grow even stronger.

If you thrive on turning complex financial data into clear, actionable insights, this is your opportunity to shape the financial future of a national leader in transportation.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and develop a high-performing corporate accounting team, including the Accounting Manager and Accounts Payable function
  • Own the full cycle of financial reporting — delivering accurate, GAAP-compliant statements, dashboards, and insights to senior leadership
  • Partner with executives to build budgets, manage expenditures, and translate financial data into strategic recommendations
  • Provide accounting insights and financial data across the organization to support informed decision-making
  • Drive continuous improvement by optimizing accounting workflows within Workday Financials and eliminating manual workarounds
  • Ensure full compliance with IRS requirements, federal and state regulations, and internal controls
  • Coordinate and lead the annual external audit process from preparation through completion

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Progressive corporate accounting experience with demonstrated leadership capability
  • Strong process orientation with a focus on system automation and data integrity
  • Strong managerial, administrative, organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge of federal and state financial regulations
  • Hands-on experience with Workday Financials or a comparable enterprise ERP platform
  • Advanced Excel proficiency for financial modeling and analysis
  • Ability to build and maintain effective, collaborative relationships across departments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning or similar budgeting and forecasting tools

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package
  • Direct partnership with C-suite leadership on strategic initiatives
  • Professional development and career advancement opportunities
  • Stable, well-established organization with a strong industry reputation
  • Collaborative, team-oriented work environment
