Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

  • Receive, inspect, label, and store incoming spare parts and materials according to company procedures.
  • Maintain organized stockroom layout ensuring items are easily identifiable and accessible.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and assist with full physical inventory counts.
  • Monitor stock levels and notify supervisors of low or critical inventory.
  • Ensure proper documentation of part movements to/from stockroom.

ERP & Data Management

  • Accurately record all transactions (receipts, issues, returns, transfers) in the ERP system.
  • Run reports, update inventory levels, and reconcile discrepancies using ERP tools.
  • Maintain part master data attributes as required (location, units, descriptions, revisions).
  • Support audits by providing accurate and timely inventory data.

Kitting & Production Support

  • Prepare complete and accurate kits for production orders or maintenance requests.
  • Review BOMs (Bills of Materials) to confirm kitting accuracy and part availability.
  • Work with Production Planners and Maintenance teams to resolve part shortages or substitutions.
  • Stage kits in designated areas to support efficient workflow and minimize downtime.

Excel & Reporting

  • Track inventory, usage trends, and material consumption using Excel spreadsheets.
  • Use Excel formulas, pivot tables, and filters to analyze data and generate reports.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts with data-driven insights.

Compliance & Safety

  • Follow all company safety, quality, and material-handling protocols.
  • Maintain clean and hazard-free work areas.
  • Safeguard parts from damage, contamination, or misplacement.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in stockroom, inventory control, warehouse, or materials management roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, sorting & filtering).
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Epicor, Infor, or similar).
  • Demonstrated ability to perform kitting for production or maintenance.
  • Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and work on feet for extended periods.

Base Pay Range: $16.93 - $28.75 Per Hour

Primary Location: USA-NJ-Totowa-KLA
