The Role & What You Will Be Doing

Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Manufacturing Operator role will make an impact:

  • Operate manufacturing lines in an efficient manner in accordance with the relevant SOPs to ensure required output targets are achieved.

  • Ensure that the manufacturing equipment and area is cleaned to GMP standards prior to use.

  • Responsible for setting up machines and equipment as well as for product-in-process testing and for product condition during processing.

  • Complete the Batch Manufacturing Record (BMR) and the reconciliations of the BMR according to relevant SOPs.

  • Report directly to Manufacturing Supervisor or Manager if any problems or damage occurs.

  • Responsible for a high standard of GMP and good housekeeping, and for the inspection of batches that do not meet the quality standards.

  • Responsible for the handling and storage of Controlled Drugs in accordance with relevant procedures, ensuring product security.

  • Usage of Manufacturing support software packages; e.g., MES, SAP, TrackWise, Documentum, etc.

  • Adhere to all company and legislative health, safety and environmental requirements, and perform any other duties as assigned by Manufacturing Supervisor or Manager.

  • Constantly look to improve the process and to learn new skills.

About Your Skills & Experience

For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:

  • Leaving Certificate or equivalent.

  • Candidates are required to be able to work different shift patterns, plus overtime when required (4-cycle, 24-7 shift pattern).

  • Candidates are required to have a good understanding of the requirements of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

  • Having previous GMP experience would be an advantage.

  • Demonstrated strong team-working skills.

  • Continuous improvement mindset.

  • Willing to learn and to continue learning.

  • Positive, can-do attitude.

  • Excellent time keeping skills.
