Global Risk Management is a critical function of the Capital Group (CG) which is responsible for independently overseeing and reporting the risks associated with the activities of the business and assists business areas in identifying and managing their key risks and, where appropriate, recommending enhancements to their processes and controls.
The Risk Management function is also responsible for the Crisis Management and Business Continuity framework and assists business areas and local Crisis Management Teams in preparing for and responding to crisis events and supporting business resiliency across the organization.
As Risk Management Senior Analyst, you will provide valuable risk management expertise to CG’s core business functions through facilitation of both proactive and reactive risk management efforts.
Primary Responsibilities:
Facilitate risk directed discussions with business areas (including senior management) in order to identify key risks and controls.
Contribute to the maintenance of entity level risk registers which document the inherent and residual risk scores for each risk relevant to the entity.
Contribute to the maintenance of the Europe and Asia Risk Appetite Statement in line with business and strategic objectives.
Facilitate the operational event response process (SWAT process) to enable prompt event resolution, and partner with the relevant business area(s) to complete event reports and as necessary identify adequate control enhancements.
Continually review and evolve the risk management framework in response to business and regulatory change.
Facilitate the Crisis Management and Business Continuity program through ongoing liaison with business areas and local crisis management teams to build, maintain and exercise their response plans. Where necessary facilitate the execution of these plans to respond to crisis events.
Prepare regular risk reports for executive management, committees and other stakeholders detailing relevant operational events, risk management activities and initiatives and crisis management & business continuity related matters.
Perform other risk management activities, which may include vendor viability assessments, supporting investment-risk related activities and other special projects as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
