About the Role

Managing overall claims performance, claims risk and management reporting as acting COE claim head.

Roles and Responsibilities:    

Overall claims performance management (80%)
Managing overall claims performance management in order to ensure claims service standard and risk management 
1.    Endorses and arbitrates the cases over BU authority, complex appealed cases and special cases within pre-set authority.
2.    Drafts & maintains AIA China claims rules & guideline
3.    Conducts claims audit 
4.    monitoring all claims KPIs 
5.    Conducts claims reports,analysis of claims trend and data
6.    Provides technical training to BU claims assessment leader and expertise. 
7.    Innovation on claims processing / service

Other claims related function (20%)
Works with CHO other parties on the tasks which involve claims
1.    Provides technical support during new product development
2.    Assists on the requirement from regulation and auditor
3.    Assists on management report for top management
4.    Supports sales channel on claims data extract, claims training material

Job Requirements:    
1.    Bachelor degree or above, major in any discipline of medical doctor or Legal will be preferred
2.    Minimum 8 years of experience in claims assessment with at least 2 years’  experience of claims portfolio analysis
3.    Fluent in English and Chinese (Putonghua)
4.    Familiar with claims risk management, claims portfolio analysis
5.    Have the knowledge of other operations function like U&I and POS
