Job Summary:
We are seeking highly skilled Murex professionals for a talent pool to support various roles across Murex implementation, development, and support. The ideal candidates should have expertise in one or more Murex modules, including Front Office, Back Office, Risk, Collateral Management, and Integration. This is an opportunity to be considered for multiple upcoming projects with leading financial institutions. Candidates who apply will be considered for multiple opportunities and may be reprofiled to other open positions that align with their skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Murex Implementation & Configuration:

  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and design Murex solutions.
  • Configure and customize Murex modules (Front Office, Back Office, Risk, etc.).
  • Ensure integration of Murex with upstream/downstream systems.
  • Participate in system upgrades and new implementations.

2. Front Office (FO) Expertise:

  • Implement and support Murex trading modules (FX, Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, etc.).
  • Configure pricing models and trade booking workflows.
  • Work with traders to optimize the trading platform.
  • Ensure real-time position monitoring and P&L reporting.

3. Risk Management (Market & Credit Risk):

  • Configure VaR, Greeks, and sensitivities calculations.
  • Implement limit management frameworks.
  • Work on counterparty risk and exposure analysis.
  • Support regulatory compliance for risk reporting (e.g., Basel III, FRTB).

4. Back Office (BO) & Operations:

  • Configure settlement, confirmation, and accounting workflows.
  • Implement automated trade processing and reconciliations.
  • Work on payments and messaging (SWIFT, FIX, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for trade lifecycle management.

5. Collateral Management & Treasury:

  • Support margining, collateral optimization, and exposure tracking.
  • Implement liquidity risk and funding management tools.
  • Work with ALM (Asset and Liability Management) teams to optimize cash flows.

6. Murex Integration & Development:

  • Develop and maintain interfaces between Murex and other systems.
  • Work with APIs (MXML, Datamart, etc.) to streamline data flows.
  • Design and implement real-time and batch data feeds.
  • Support automation and reporting using Murex Datamart.

7. Support & Maintenance:

  • Troubleshoot system issues and provide Level 1/2/3 support.
  • Optimize system performance and monitor production environments.
  • Provide user training and documentation.
  • Work closely with business users, IT teams, and vendors.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience: Minimum 3-10+ years of Murex experience (varies by role level).
  • Technical Skills: Strong SQL, UNIX/Linux scripting, Java/C# (optional but preferred).
  • Murex Knowledge: Hands-on experience with one or more Murex modules.
  • Business Knowledge: Understanding of financial products (FX, Derivatives, Bonds, etc.).
  • Integration Experience: Working knowledge of APIs, MXML, and Datamart.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Exposure to Basel III, FRTB, IFRS, etc.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Murex Certified Professional (if available).
  • Financial certifications such as CFA, FRM, or PRM are a plus.
