Description

Strategy Consulting Team (SCT) is seeking to hire a Career Management Fields Specialist (CMFS) for the Army National Guard to provide Aviation Career Management Fields Training Services (CMFTS) in either:

• Annville, PA (Fort Indiantown Gap) or Arlington, VA (National Guard Bureau). 

Under the Army National Guard Training Division Institutional Training Branch (ARNG-TRI), the CMF Specialists assist the ARNG The Army School System (TASS) schools to provide institutional training that is compliant with constantly updated laws and regulations and that is effectively employing resources provided.

Duties

• Serve as a liaison for information sharing between the Army Aviation Proponent, the National Guard Bureau, the four Army National Guard Aviation Training Sites (AATS), and other stakeholders.  For example, working with the Proponent, NGB, and a State Training Office to process a waiver for an ARNG student to attend a course.  
• Review Training Requirements Analysis System documents (such as Programs of Instruction) and Basis of Issue Plans (BOIPs) to screen for any issues or concerns from the perspective of Army National Guard students and schoolhouses.
• Provide training and assistance to AATS staffs on the major activities of the TASS Training Management Lifecycle. 
• Assist ARNG TASS Training Battalions and Regiments achieve and maintain accreditation according to TRADOC Regulation 11-21 (TRADOC Implementation of the Army Quality Assurance Program) and Army Enterprise Standards (AES).
• Analyze data and assist with Army training Requirements and Resource System (ATRRS) for individual training requirements for enlisted and officer qualification and professional education courses. Generate reports, conduct analysis, interpret implications, and develop recommendations for each aspect of the Training Management Lifecycle.

Qualifications

• A minimum of three years of experience at a military schoolhouse as an instructor or a course manager, and either a bachelor’s degree from an accredited US-based university or Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant license.
• Proficient in the use of MS Office suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proficient in the preparation and presentation of briefings to large groups.
• Working knowledge of military protocol when addressing Officers, Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs) and government personnel.
• Able to effectively interface and communicate with civilian and military personnel at all levels.
• Ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)

• Work locations are either Annville, PA (Fort Indiantown Gap) or Arlington, VA (National Guard Bureau). Job requires occasional, short-duration (generally 1 to 5 days) travel in the continental US.
