We are seeking a high performing, experienced, and energetic Technical Program Manager to direct projects for HP’s managed service organizations, using program management tools and communication methods to ensure a common understanding of the program plan of record to stakeholders, and Identifying areas of improvement in executing defined solutions and defining path-forward.  The successful candidate will work closely with business and technical stakeholders across multiple organizations within HP and our partners.  You will need to operate in complex disciplines, navigate ambiguous situations, and exercise independent judgment in developing project goals and direction.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead a program involving multiple functions and project teams to drive the program, from ideation if yet to be defined, to implementation of a solution with defined timelines and resources
  • Develop and direct the creation of features, schedules, critical deliverables, and other program support requirements
  • Review and become familiar with all network environments and system configurations, with emphasis on new solutions development, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and leading initiatives from conception to completion.
  • Ensuring efficient use of resources to complete project tasks within specified deadlines, tracking resource supply and utilization, and maintaining resource demand forecasts
  • Managing day-to-day activities of the program/project, driving the efficiency and effectiveness of the project management process, and supporting the Demand Manager and stakeholders by managing resource records and analyzing capacity
  • Developing a project plan, managing deliverables according to the plan, leading and managing the project team, and ensuring the project proceeds within the specified time frame and under the established budget while achieving its objectives
  • Apply critical thinking and technical skills to solve problems, fill gaps and achieve objectives through the cross functional team. Develop, execute, and track Operational Key Results (OKRs).
  • Use program management tools and communication methods to ensure common understanding of program plan of record to stakeholders.
  • Identify areas of improvement in executing defined solutions and defines path-forward actions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Project Management,  Engineering, or related field AND 12+ years related experience
  • Experience designing and developing project and program planning tools and software packages to create, manage, and track project results.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated business acumen, understanding of organizational strategy, and successful experience managing all aspects of cross- business unit programs, including communicating with internal and external stakeholders and directing matrixed teams and resources.
  • History of innovation with examples of developing new technical, engineering and/or manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
  • Ability to effectively communicate program management architectures, plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at senior management levels.
