Summary: As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for applying your Network Security Operations skills to design, build, and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. Your typical day will involve providing services to safeguard information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes against cyber threats. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and maintain network security infrastructure to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets. - Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. - Monitor and analyze network traffic to detect and respond to security incidents, including malware infections, unauthorized access attempts, and data exfiltration. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks, including conducting vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits. - Provide technical guidance and support to other IT teams to ensure the secure configuration and operation of network devices, servers, and applications. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Expertise in Network Security Operations. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Firewall, VPN, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and other security technologies. - Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing, and switching protocols. - Experience with security assessment tools and techniques, including vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and security audits. - Knowledge of security frameworks and standards, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex security issues and develop effective solutions. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in Network Security Operations. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCNP Security. - This position is based at our Kolkata office.
