Key Accountabilities

  • Support the sales team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within market data sales.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to understand industry trends and customer needs.
  • Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and financial models for prospective clients.
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring effective communication and customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with product and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of market data services.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, market data usage, and pricing effectiveness.
  • Assist in contract negotiations and licensing agreements related to market data subscriptions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and exchange policies regarding market data usage.
  • Collaborate with finance and legal teams to support revenue management and contract adherence.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in market data sales, financial services, or a similar analytical role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends and sales data.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Knowledge of financial market data providers such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, or ICE Data Services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Understanding of market data licensing, pricing models, and exchange policies is an advantage.
