Job Description:

Summary:
The Cybersecurity Intern will assist the cybersecurity team in monitoring systems, identifying vulnerabilities, and supporting security initiatives. This role offers hands-on experience in cybersecurity and flexible hours to accommodate the intern's academic schedule. This internship will be located in our Customer Support Services office in San Jose, CA.

Internship Requirements

• One‑year commitment from June 1, 2026, through May 28, 2027
  • Summer - full time (32-40 hours per week)
  • Fall/Spring/Winter - based on school schedule
• 100% on-site, no remote option
• Eligibility for employment in the US is required without sponsorship (ex. OPT, F1, etc.)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Monitor network traffic and logs for security threats

• Support vulnerability assessments and penetration testing and follow up to ensure issues from the penetration test are remediated

• Assist in maintaining security tools and systems

• Help investigate security incidents

• Assist with patch management and system updates

• Organize security documentation and reports

• Collaborate with IT teams to mitigate risks

• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Enrolled in a Cybersecurity, IT, or related degree program

• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and tools

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team

• Good communication and attention to detail

• Flexible, part-time availability

Salary Range: $25.00 - $27.00
