The role of the IT Vendor Relationship Management Analyst is to support the growing IT vendor management function through RGA's Global IT function. This is a new role that will help to build out the IT vendor management process for key suppliers and vendors. The IT Vendor Management Analyst is responsible for driving data-driven vendor oversight and financial accountability. This role focuses on vendor selection, contract negotiation and tracking, invoice validation, and SLA compliance. The analyst leverages metrics and reporting to monitor performance, manage risk, and provide actionable insights to leadership, ensuring optimal vendor relationships and cost efficiency.
Principle Duties
Vendor Selection, Evaluation, and Onboarding: The analyst identifies, evaluates, and selects new vendors, and manages onboarding for new and existing vendors, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with internal standards.
Contract Management: They manage vendor contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. This includes tracking key contract terms (SLAs), renewals, and amendments.
Performance Monitoring: The analyst monitors vendor performance against agreed-upon key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs), identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities; implement corrective actions where necessary..
Vendor Invoicing and Financial Oversight: Review, validate, and process vendor invoices to ensure accuracy and alignment with contractual terms.
Risk Management: The analyst assesses and mitigates potential risks associated with vendors, such as financial instability, security breaches, or supply chain disruptions.
Relationship Management: They build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, acting as a point of contact for communication and issue resolution.
Reporting and Analysis: The analyst develops and delivers reports on vendor performance, costs metrics, and other relevant data. Provide actionable insights to leadership through data visualization and trend analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Education
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in either Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management or relevant work experience
Preferred:
Master’s degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS)
Work Experience
Required:
Minimum of 2+ years of work experience in procurement, vendor management, or sourcing discipline
Skills and Abilities:
Required:
Contract review/renewals, negotiations, tracking metrics, SLAs, and working with large amounts of data
Well organized and can organize around deadlines or competing priorities
Highly motivated with a pro-active work approach and ability to effectively prioritize and make things happen. ‘Can do’ attitude.
Ability to work harmoniously within the team environment and be able to communicate with a wide range of audiences outside of procurement and finance.
Ability to balance detail with departmental goals/objectives. Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, balancing priorities, and deliverables.
Clear communication skills, both written and presentation skills
Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent organizational and analytical capabilities
Excellent attention to detail
Preferred:
Ability to design, build and maintain dashboards and reports that provide real-time visibility into vendor SLAs/KPIs in Power BI

Compensation Range:
$89,310.00 - $134,870.00 AnnualBase pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan. RGA also maintains a full range of health, retirement, and other employee benefits.
