Position Summary: As the SLP Partner II for True Forward/True Up, you will handle the day-to-day organization and processing of True Forwards/True Ups, including quoting, booking, and updating databases. You will communicate the status of the True Forward/True Up to both internal F5 organizations (Sales, Channel, Customer Success) and external partners (distribution partners, VAR partners, Global Service Integrators)

In this position, you will serve as a subject matter expert for the TF/TU sales process, enhancing both operational and organizational productivity. You will handle TF/TU process exception requests on a case-by-case basis, providing guidance to Approvers on the feasibility and potential implications of each exception.

As an FCP program contact for the TF/TU operations, you will partner with the larger Global Programs team for additional efforts impacting FCP and any potential program-impacting efforts.

The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of F5 buying programs and be able to drive operational efficiency for the standard TF/TU processes and tracking while providing thorough assessments of complex exceptions. They should be comfortable interacting with all levels within the organization, including senior-level executives.

Primary Responsibilities: 

True Forward/True Up Processing & Management

  • Responsible for quoting and booking True Forwards/True Ups on a timely basis.
  • Drive awareness of the EOM/EOQ pipeline and high-visibility TF/TUs
  • Improve and/or create new ways of tracking TF/TUs so that the status of each opportunity is available and reportable.
  • Responsible for ongoing communication to TF/TU Sales Ops leaders regarding SLA, quoting volume, and any potential operational improvements.

Partnership with Customer Success

  • Partner closely with Customer Success Managers, follow “ways of working” best practices and boundaries to ensure questions and tasks are owned/performed by the correct team.

TF/TU Deal Advising and Support

  • Advise on end-to-end/up and downstream impacts of programmatic exception requests for TF/TU opportunities.
  • Optimize processes to facilitate quicker and more proactive resolution of TF/TU exceptions through ongoing evaluation of workflows and identification of operational inefficiencies.
  • Proactively include impacted departments on exception details and confirm their approval requirements.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform other special projects and tasks as assigned by the VP of Sales Strategy & Operations.
  • Responsible for upholding F5’s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • 2-3 years of focused sales operations experience or the equivalent experience would be preferred
  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to interpret formula outputs is preferred
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com from either a sales or administrator perspective is preferred
  • Knowledge of configuration, pricing, and quoting processes preferred 

Physical Demands and Work Environment: 

  • Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table.  Duties require utilizing a computer, communicating over the telephone, and reading printed material.
  • Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal hours (evenings and weekends).
  • Duties may require the ability to travel via automobile or airplane, approximately 10% of the time spent traveling.
