Job Title: Senior Project Manager

The position will hold the overall responsibility for the management of large-scale, multimillion- projects, including commercial, technical & site construction responsibilities that achieve, or exceed performance targets.

What will you do?

  • Act as the senior customer interface for allocated projects, ensuring the voice of the customer is heard and customer expectations are exceeded.
  • Meet regularly with clients, stakeholders and project managers to report on project progress
  • Liaise with clients and build strong working relationships
  • Ensure Safety, Health and Environmental requirements are implemented to the highest standards and are aligned to Linxon’s, and our customers, governance / requirements.
  • Hold the overall responsibility for the management of large-scale, multimillion-pound projects, including commercial, technical & site construction responsibilities that achieve, or exceed performance targets.
  • With the support of the Supply Chain Function, you will be responsible for the selection of subcontracted activities, plant and services, including negotiating the contract terms and conditions.
  • Strong Risk and Opportunity Management, both towards customers and the contracted supply chain partners / sub-contractors.
  • Ensure the highest Quality standards are upheld throughout the projects life cycle, ensuring project quality plans have been developed and implemented.
  • You will also manage, both strategically and operationally, the appropriate use of technical- and human resources on the allocated projects.
  • As a senior level figure within the local APAC business, you are expected to have a keen interest in finding out and sharing your knowledge about new development, market trends, public known competitors’ products and activities.
  • You will support future order capture by providing advice, input and knowledge to the sales and tendering teams.

Experience, Education and other Required:

  • Minimum 15 years of Project Management experience in Substations Minimum experience in two 380kV or above rating GIS substation, regional experience in South Asia region
  • Education related to Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in Electrical Transmission projects, including Civil Construction.
  • You get your messages across in a coherent and clear way and lead your projects with great confidence at its most difficult and challenging times.
  • A natural ability to take initiative and apply both creativity and perseverance whilst remaining compliant with of Linxon’s Code of Conduct.
  • As Project Manager, you also need to be highly experienced in risk mitigation & opportunity management.
  • A Project Management Certification, or a PMP certification, are also preferable additional qualifications.
