Job Description:

Main Duties and Responsibilities

· Review export documentation provided by shipper, client and any other Marken affiliates.

· Identify ideal routing(s) based on service level requirements and packaging validation timelines.

· Work directly with our airline partners to book shipments and create MAWB’s, and integrate shipments into cargo wise.

· Complete accurate data entry, of all required details of Shipment, MAWB, and Consignment as instructed by guidelines.

· Enter the Route Leg for International Flight and all relevant charges associated into Maestro, and Cargo Wise.

· Perform export compliance duties such as AES filing and KSMS checks.

· Dispatch orders to the OSP and coordinate the dispatch to ensure shipment is tendered to the Airline timely.

· Complete verification of documents and verification of live shipments prior to shipment departing Marken ORD facility.

· Upload final combined documents and send the Pre Alert through Maestro

· Routine track and trace for pending shipments and ensure proactive internal communication with our customer service team to avoid delays.

Responsibility's

1. Acts as key communicator between various departments regarding shipments compliance, routing, and documentation for export.

2. Adhere to all company Policies at all times.

3. To undertake any other reasonable duties at the request of the Line Manager, Operations Manager.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, or International equivalent

  • Basic knowledge of customs operations, laws and regulations, and other government departments

  • Basic computer skills

  • Basic understanding of HS system

Compensation & Benefits:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $23.03 an hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate’s work experience.

Pay Range:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $18.45/hr to $29.95/hr. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate’s work experience. Hired applicants are offered annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs, subject to applicable eligibility requirements. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
