Regional Community Sales Leader- Home Health
Schedule: Monday - Friday and weekends as needed


SUMMARY
The Regional Community Sales Leader (RCSL) is responsible for working directly with the Senior Director of Sales to develop and execute community-based growth strategies driving patient referrals,
building relationships with key stakeholders and supporting local efforts to establish ASHN as the leading provider of home health services. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales acumen, rich experience in
developing sales team members, a deep knowledge of the home health market and a passion for improving the quality of life for patients in the community. The CE complies with company policies and follows all legal rules and regulations.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve patient referral goals and revenue targets

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the community, including hospitals, physicians, long-term care facilities, and other referral sources

  • Drive community outreach efforts to enhance brand awareness and establish strong relationships with local healthcare providers and influencers

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, clinical, operational) to ensure alignment and success of sales initiatives

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key referral sources including physicians, case managers, discharge planners, and hospital staff

  • Attend community events, healthcare conferences, and networking opportunities to increase visibility and create new business opportunities

  • Ensure customer satisfaction and follow-up with clients to strengthen partnerships and ensure continuous patient referrals

  • Lead and mentor a regional team of sales professionals, providing guidance and support to meet and exceed sales goals

  • Coach and develop team members on best practices, sales strategies, and compliance standards

  • Foster a high-performance sales culture within the region, driving motivation and accountability

  • Monitor local healthcare trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities to adjust sales strategies accordingly

  • Provide regular updates and detailed reports on sales performance, pipeline development, and opportunities to senior leadership

  • Maintain CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system with up-to-date information on leads, contacts, and sales progress

  • Ensure that all sales activities comply with healthcare regulations, industry standards, and company policies

  • Promote ethical sales practices that prioritize patient care and safety above all

  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned

  • Travel expectations up to 90% within assigned territory

MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support market RVPs in interviewing, hiring, developing and maintaining performance accountability of care integration personnel

  • Responsible for the day-to-day support, development and execution of community team members and market based growth strategies

  • Provides consistent coaching and provides challenge and opportunity to direct reports to ensure community program growth

  • Completes ride-along, monthly and quarterly evaluations of performance expectations in an accurate and timely manner to support community team member development

  • Performs coaching, counseling, and discipline as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of three (3) years of home health sales experience, with a concentration on market development and successful implementation of growth strategies

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market

  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities to guide a sales team to success

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and build rapport with internal and external stakeholders

  • Ability to create positive impressions and communicate with a variety of people. Maintain effective communication with patients, families, physicians, management team, direct reports, and co-workers. Compassionate and caring while working with patients

  • Deep understanding of the home health industry and local healthcare market

  • Ability to analyze market trends and adapt strategies accordingly

  • Strong understanding of home health regulations, hospital discharge planning, and value-based care models

  • Working knowledge of home health eligibility criteria and referral processes

  • Data-driven decision making and a track record of strategic growth execution

  • Detail-oriented and observant

  • Disciplined style of work ethic

  • Ability to prioritize and be timely. Works efficiently

  • Ability to follow directions and work as a team member while also serving as a manager/mentor to those on the market’s Care Integration team.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and Outlook and the ability to learn new systems

  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite

EDUCATION AND CREDENTIALS
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
