This is a great job for someone who is early in their career, enjoys working with data, and is curious about how investment decisions are made. It’s ideal for someone who wants to build experience across fixed income markets, develop analytical skills, and work closely with investment professionals.

A bit about the job:

This role exists to help us deliver strong investment outcomes for our clients by supporting our Canadian and global fixed income strategies. You’ll join our Fixed Income team in Toronto, where we analyse markets, evaluate opportunities, and build tools that help us understand how portfolios behave in different market conditions. You’ll work closely with portfolio managers and global colleagues to produce analytics, assess securities, and contribute ideas across a range of strategies including Canadian Core, Climate Transition and Global mandates. You’ll also help us strengthen our responsible investment approach by integrating ESG and climate considerations into our analysis. Your work will support how we manage risk, shape investment decisions, and create long‑term value for our clients.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with an interest in financial markets.
  • Working knowledge of Python or another coding language, or willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work well with others and contribute to team goals.
  • Proactive and organised, comfortable working with data and exploring new ideas.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent experience, showing strong analytical thinking.

What you’ll get for this role:

  • Compelling rewards package including base compensation, eligibility for annual bonus, retirement savings, share plan, health benefits, personal wellness, and volunteer opportunities.
  • Outstanding Career Development opportunities.
  • We’ll support your professional development education.
  • Competitive vacation package with the option to purchase 5 extra days off per year
  • Employee driven programs focused on gender, LGBTQ+, origins, diversity and inclusion
  • Corporate wellness programs to support our employees’ physical and mental health
  • Hybrid flexible work model
