Within Specialist Sales & Client Solutions, Industry Growth & Innovation develops customer-led growth strategies, industry propositions and innovation initiatives that help customers succeed in an evolving business landscape.

As Executive Manager, Hospitality, you'll lead one of Business Banking's priority industry verticals, shaping how CommBank supports hospitality businesses across restaurants, cafes, pubs, clubs, accommodation, tourism and event-led businesses.

Reporting to the General Manager, Industry Growth & Innovation, you'll lead the Hospitality growth agenda, translating customer and market insights into propositions, partnerships and go-to-market initiatives that deliver value for customers and sustainable growth for the bank.

Working across product, payments, merchant solutions, distribution, risk, digital, marketing and external partner networks, you'll bring stakeholders together to deliver industry-focused solutions, strengthen customer outcomes and support frontline teams with insights and tools that create meaningful customer conversations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the Hospitality growth strategy aligned to Business Banking priorities.
• Identifying customer needs, growth opportunities and emerging industry trends.
• Designing and delivering customer propositions, payments and merchant solutions, and go-to-market initiatives.
• Building strong partnerships across Business Banking, the broader Group and external industry networks.
• Developing thought leadership, industry insights and banker enablement programs.
• Supporting customer growth through innovative and practical solutions across payments, productivity and digital adoption.
• Embedding strong governance, risk management and execution disciplines.

We're interested in hearing from people who have

• Experience developing and delivering growth, industry, payments or customer strategies within a complex organisation.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify and realise growth opportunities.
• Knowledge of the hospitality sector, payments, merchant services or related industries.
• Experience building customer propositions, partnerships or go-to-market strategies.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, including working with senior leaders.
• An understanding of payments, digital transformation and emerging technologies shaping business customers.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams or influencing outcomes across a matrix environment.
• A strong risk mindset and experience operating within a regulated environment.
