Role Overview

The Senior Analyst – Finance & Accounting will play a key role in intercompany accounting, accruals month-end close, headcount reporting, and recharge processes. This role requires strong accounting knowledge, hands-on journal posting experience, and close collaboration with FP&A, Payroll, and business stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

Intercompany Accounting & Reconciliations

  • Prepare Intercompany workings, journals and supporting documentation

  • Perform intercompany reconciliations, accrual postings & clearing mismatches with counterparties.

  • Prepare and post intercompany accrual journals in line with accounting policies.

  • Perform Blackline Balance sheet reconciliations and resolve aged open items.


Month-End Close

  • Perform month-end close activities like: IC accounting, Cost accruals, financial reporting in BPC packs etc. within defined timelines.

  • Foreign Exchange (FX) rates update with the UK market to support financial planning and reporting.

  • Monitor and verify headcount submissions, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates.

  • Perform Intercompany (IC) versus Financial Consolidation (FC) cube checks along with Profit & Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet (BS) reconciliations to validate financial data integrity.

  • Chase finance cube submissions and resolve queries related to FC unlocks and locks, ensuring timely and accurate data consolidation.

  • Track and manage CPS submissions to ensure completeness and compliance with reporting deadlines.

  • Review and validate Balance Sheet and P&L transactions, particularly focusing on flows and transfers.

  • Refresh and update financial reporting packs, including FR Packs and other required documentation.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of financial accounting, intercompany accounting, and accruals.

  • Hands-on experience with Blackline, BPC, and ERP systems.

  • Should be team player-Ability to work and collaborate with team members.

  • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with high attention to details.

  • Ability to manage tight deadlines during month-end close

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline

  • 6 - 8+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting, preferably in a shared services or multinational environment

  • Experience performing month-end close, intercompany accounting, and reporting activities
