Compensation Overview

The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

Salary Range

$83,300.00 - $137,400.00

What Is the Opportunity?

Under general supervision, Technology Engineer is responsible for designing, maintaining, and supporting Microsoft 365 (M365) collaboration solutions within the organization. This role requires a deep understanding and passion of M365 technologies, including SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and associated applications. By combining technical expertise with strong communication and collaboration skills, the Technology Engineer will play a vital role in enabling the organization to leverage M365 to enhance collaboration, productivity, and innovation. We are looking for a motivated self-starter with strong communication and collaboration skills, a passion for learning, and the ability to work effectively with users of varying experience levels.

What Will You Do?

  • Consulting and Support

  • Consult with M365 end-users and stakeholders to understand their business goals and provide strategic guidance on solutions.
  • Provide technical support for M365 collaboration solutions, troubleshooting issues and resolving problems. 
  • Promote SharePoint, Teams and other M365 applications across the organization, driving awareness and implementing strategies to increase end-user adoption and proficiency, through demos, webinars, and consulting sessions.
  • Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress.
  • Govern and Foster User Engagement

  • Implement and enforce governance policies for the entire lifecycle of SharePoint and Teams—from creation to deletion—ensuring proper data security, compliance with retention requirements, and adherence to organizational standards for managing and protecting information.
  • Assess training and support materials, collect and analyze feedback from end-users to identify gaps and emerging needs, and recommend solutions for improvement.
  • Partner with Change Management team to deliver communication materials (e.g., emails, newsletters, user guides) to inform end-users about upcoming changes, updates, and new system features.
  • Configure and Maintain:  
  • Work closely with IT teams, including architecture, security, and networking, to ensure successful management and support of M365 solutions. 
  • Manage and maintain M365 environments, including updates, and security configurations. 
  • Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.  
  • Assist in the onboarding of emerging technologies in a Proof of Concept fashion or preparing for rollout.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, such as design documents, configuration guides, and user manuals.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement:  
  • Stay up to date with the latest M365 technologies and trends, evaluating new M365 features for ways to enhance collaboration and productivity.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation. 
  • Interface with partners and employees within the organization with regards to emerging technologies and new product testing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?

  • Three years of experience in Technology
  • Strong knowledge and experience with M365 technologies, including SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and related applications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills: be able to communicate complex ideas to end-users of all skill levels, leadership, and have good stakeholder management. 
  • Demonstrated ability to self-teach/self-learn new technologies and apply them to problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to share learnings with other technology team members in a positive encouraging manner.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity of security best practices, Microsoft Entra, Purview, eDiscovery and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with Power Platform tools (e.g. Power Automate, Power Apps) for automation and administration.
  • Knowledge of data migration and integration tools.

What is a Must Have?

  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or its equivalent in work experience, required.
