Abbott Laboratories is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Procurement Senior Manager to lead strategic sourcing initiatives for resins, sterilization processes, and the corporate PFAS program. This is a high-impact role that will shape procurement strategies, drive cost efficiencies, and champion supply chain resilience across our global operations. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, prioritize supplier diversity, and ensure compliance with evolving regulatory landscapes. This role has flexibility to be based at one of our U.S. office locations.
Lead global procurement for resins and sterilization processes, ensuring a reliable and cost-effective supply chain.
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with Abbott’s business goals.
Manage the corporate PFAS program, ensuring compliance with global regulations and minimizing risk.
Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality and compliance.
Negotiate supply agreements and manage supplier relationships.
Promote supplier diversity and track diversity spend performance.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders across R&D, quality, production, and other departments.
Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and regulatory changes to inform procurement decisions.
Report on key performance indicators including cost savings, compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
6–10 years of procurement experience, preferably with a focus on resins and sterilization.
Strong knowledge of global procurement practices and supply chain management.
Proven ability to develop and implement procurement strategies and cost-saving initiatives.
Experience managing corporate programs and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Excellent negotiation, contract management, and analytical skills.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Willingness to travel up to 20%.
Master’s degree in a relevant field.
Technical expertise in resin materials and sterilization technologies.
Familiarity with PFAS regulations and hazardous substance compliance.
Demonstrated success in managing complex projects and driving results.
Strong leadership and stakeholder influence skills.
Financial acumen and experience managing procurement budgets.

The base pay for this position is
$127,300.00 – $254,700.00In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
