Job Description

Crossroads C&I Edmonton has an opening for a Buyer to join our Inventory Management team to support the purchasing process of products and materials on behalf of the organization. This role helps support the accuracy and efficiency of our team by ensuring that materials, schedules, services, and related resources are planned and coordinated to support business needs and objectives. The Opportunity would initially be coverage for maternity leave then would transition to a full-time in office position focusing on our Fabrication department.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Conduct day to day replenishment in support of branches
  • Maintain data integrity in the Purchasing system to ensure accurate planning parameters
  • Monitor supplier performance
  • Provide day to day support of Customer Service Reps on special orders
  • Complete special projects as assigned

What qualifications do you need?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or related experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of related supply chain/continuous improvement experience Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills
  • Previous experience in Fabrication or Manufacturing an asset.
  • Skilled user of Microsoft Office, i.e.: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and industry standard purchase order software.
  • Previous Oracle experience an asset.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and communication skills
  • Occasional bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting up 10 KG
  • This is an on site Edmonton position, will not accept remote applications.
