ABOUT THIS POSITION

The Project Manager leads cross-functional project teams to implement Waystar’s predictive

analytic and workflow solutions for our healthcare system and hospital clients. You will welcome

our clients after they transition from the sales process and guide them from project kick-off

through successful solution adoption. Along the way, you’ll promote the client’s success by

deploying your project management expertise: managing the project plan, identifying and

mitigating risks, and driving on-time deliverables. You will also build and use your knowledge of

the healthcare revenue cycle and Waystar’s platform to offer strategic guidance to clients as they leverage our solutions to achieve their goals. When the project is finished, you will have

delighted our customers by providing excellent service and allowing them to realize real value.

A successful candidate will have the opportunity to interact with some of the largest and most prestigious healthcare organizations in the U.S.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the project implementation; including product solutions 

  • and associated revenue 

  • Understand and support the client project success criteria and goals 

  • Define and communicate project plan updates to the Waystar and client teams 

  • Manage project status, issue list, and risk management reporting 

  • Act as primary contact to the client for project and milestone issues 

  • Coordinate Waystar project team resources and deliverables 

  • Coordinate monthly strategic review sessions with client and Waystar leadership 

  • Contribute to internal process improvement efforts 

  • Perform other duties and /or projects as assigned by management within the area of responsibility 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Passionate about solving problems, building teams, and delivering high-quality outcomes 

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills 

  • Strong business sense and judgement 

  • First-rate work ethic, desire to grow, and a sense of humor 

  • Skilled at navigating difficult conversations and guiding them to desirable outcomes 

  • Able to communicate effectively with client executives and to advise them on project strategy 

  • Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding goals 

  • History of initiating and completing impactful process improvements 

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited top-tier institution 

  • Knowledge of and experience with project management fundamentals 

  • 3+ years’ experience with project management, software/technology, or healthcare 

  • Strong preference for prior healthcare revenue cycle experience
